You cried when you heard the news that Jillian was fired from GDLA. I think your mug went on channel 5 news shortly after you were fired to back stab Jillian and tell all of channel 5 viewers that you felt her on air apology to you was fake. Was that just a way to get your mug back on television? I think you were waiting for Jillian to get fired because misery loves company. You have always been jealous of her.

yea, Sandra could feel her fingers. I just got chills up and down my spine. Thank you GOD for this miracle and for the Doctor’s wonderful skills and for your kind heart and caring. As far as GDLA goes, I am now watching it with a whole new perspective. It’s like watching a new show in a way. I was never a fan of Jillian’s so I was more then elated when she was fired. I miss the heck out of you but I know there’s not a thing I could do about it SO I go on. If you didn’t have your blog I’d probably be ranting and raging. I am SO very happy to chat this way then not at all. Keep up what you’re doing friend,

Hi Dorothy,
I just wanted to tell you that I miss seeing you in my living room every (weekday) morning. I know you’ve heard it before but I still cannot believe FOX would go for such a low blow. I, like many others, tried to continue watching Steve and Jill, but its not the same. In fact, its so lame I’ve stopped watching all together. The three of you had such a great vibe together, I cannot understand why the Execs thought it was a good idea to take you out of the mix!
I know you are busy with your son and Mending Kids, but I also know the sting from how FOX did this to you still hurts. Never you mind, you are better than them and it is their loss. I wish you great success in any endeavor you choose to follow, you will be great at whatever you do next!
You are much loved and much missed!

When you left it was a complete shocker.I was thinking to myself “how can they them?”. I knew it wouldn’t be the same without you. And now this with Jillian. My girlfriend felt something was going on when days before she heard Jill say something to Steve something along the lines of “soon you won’t have me around” and sure enough I saw on Twitter about Jill leaving that just ruined my day with her gone their is no was I’m gonna continue watching glda while I get ready for work.since the very beginning I was a loyal viewer bug not anymore.

Praise God for Sandra’s fingers!! Yay! On another note, I’ve said it before, but I also stopped watching GDLA when you left. Like one of your other commenters said, I’m sure I’m now out of their focus demo, as I am in my sixties. But, I was a faithful watcher from the beginning until they brought in the “bleeding eyes” guy. I wonder if their new audience will be as faithful as we were! I felt a part of the group and laughed and cried with you three. I hope that Jillian will find her niche as well as you have and will continue to do. Keep up the good work!

I quite frankly agree Dorothy…Vegas cures all ills…at least that has been my experience…a little harder with little kids for Jillian..and I am always a little poorer when I leave and REALLY tired…but, I can never wait to go back..so, I am thinking money and sleep aren’t that important..LOL

As I post yet again…miss you both…and having a long period of adjustment after so many years…is very, very easily understandable…now you have each other though…:)…and in time it will fade to happy memories…while new memories are in the making.

So nice you have the blog so we…the fans..don’t have complete withdrawal symptoms…LOL

Speaking of miracles… Happy to know Sandra is ‘feeling the healing’! I’m proud of you both.

Uh, does this mean I have to go Vegas to get laid?? just asking… LOL

BTW I just learned of Jill’s departure. Now I know Fox has really lost their minds. I’m confident Jill will land on her feet and find her niche just as you did. I’m certain God will open new doors for her and she will totally know what to do. As all things happen for a reason, maybe it was just time for both you girls to “get your own gig on”.. and opportunity has presented herself! So go get ‘em!!

I don’t know why I’m taking this so personally, but I am so angry about these changes. I’ve seen it written a hundred times about this topic, but… You don’t fix something that is not broken! The show really has sucked since you left. You can feel everyone’s fear on set. “Am I next?” And, yes, they are next. Poor Steve. I love him, but I’m not going to watch anymore. There is no chemistry with all these women they’ve been auditioning. This new one? No offense to her personally, but I don’t get it. GDLA just screwed up royally. I hope whoever did all the firing is then fired for his bad decisions. It’s just awful. Well, it’s nice to keep up with you through social media. Take care, Dorothy. I feel like I know you all personally. I’ve been watching forever. I guess I’ll listen to music while getting ready in the morning from here on out. God bless you for all your good work. Hugs!

It was a lovely blog post today. And Good Day LA – well I already have stopped watching. And they are so obviously AGE DISCRIMINATING I think you two should file an Age Discrimination Lawsuit – bet Gloria woudl take it, lol. Seriously – I have a 25 year old – a target demographic – do you think she watches or cares about mornining news? NO! But I do – and I have the money to spend – she doesnt. I am 52 and very sad about the ageism in television . . . .Thanks for the Blog!
