" No, Dad, not this year...I'm saving for a trip to Israel....sometime..." ( How could I even think of leaving him & going anywhere).... He smiled and said...."You will go, you'll see, you will go ".....Vacations were very important to my Dad....he was the King of The Road Trip....he took us all through the USA, a lot of Mexico & even some Canada......He was a Cop on the LAPD and he worked very very hard for the things that he gave us. I know you know that...
