I used to work in "the biz" many years ago and at one point for the then up and coming Producer Joel Silver in 1978. He was only about 33 and very cocky, abrasive and pissed off a few execs at Universal Studios. His movie that I worked with him on, Xanadu, tanked and I know they were going to shit can him so I quickly quit and moved to work for Cheech & Chong. He was very upset with me and told me, in these exact words , "you will NEVER work another day in this town!" I'm going to be BIG in this business and you'll regret it! He was hurt, I know this because under that abravise, cocky guy, was actually a softie. Well, I did continue to work in the town, and eventually work for Chairman, CEO Frank Price at Sony Pictures in 1991. When I ran into Joel at "The Terminator" premier, flanked by some good looking blondes at the time, he recognized me and gave me a big hug and said "I knew you would do good one day!" Lol ...
