My Princessa, Princess Sandarita Playa Chica is watching a Barbie movie. So I have time to blog about another Princess Of Malibu. This one actually lived in a castle. Till it burned. The fire that destroyed my Church also burned the castle. Did you ever see it? It was up on a hill above the Counrty Mart. We are rebuilding my Church. And Princess Lilly had a party ( of course) to announce she is rebuilding too. We all wore gowns (mine was short of course) and tiaras. The room was filled with “Princesses” and a few Queens.
So I went from champagne to beer. I dont usually drink beer but I will swill for the children! BU LA LA was hot ( in many ways). It was the Mending KIds version of Woodstock. No sex. No drugs. Lots of rock and roll. And kids. We got Sandra on stage for a moment (she’s shy unlike her “Mama”). She went because the drummer for THE ROMAN HELMETS is the firefighter who pulled a bee stinger ( I learned a new word ABEJA) out of her cute little foot at the beach. Malibu really is a small town.
Malibu Mama Nia Peeples performed (she could not be hotter). Nick Richards performed with BOYS DONT CRY (he could not be hotter…am I repeating my self?) Kylie Hughes, ELLIS, NOWWHERE MEN, GENE LOVES JEZEBEL. And Martha Quinn (who looks exactly the same) was the MC.
Mending Kids has saved the lives of almost a million kids. My Sandra is one of the million. And one in a million.
Yesterday I dragged her to my meetings. Afterward we made an H & M run with Good News Wendy, We stepped on the escalator and Sandra was giggling like we were on a Disneyland ride. Later just for gigles we played TWISTER. Not so easy for a girl with a cast that’s half her size (pie derecho rojo).
By the way the cast comes off in two days.
You wouldn’t think it wouldn’t take me so long to write a few paragraphs but it does. Better go check on my Barbie Princess. She is almost at the ( and her) happily ever after…
I must say all beautiful princesses in the picture
I must say on GDLA while I adored you, now I can see how you were held back! You are so funny and I love reading your blots! You need to write a book and pick a title like Surviving being a Malibu Princess ! Include all the events of your life! You put the “Dorothy” flair on it…. I love reading your blog! The part about stealing (lol) a lolipop from Sandra made me laugh and laugh. You are just fabulous!
Love that Sandra. She is TOOOOOOO cute!
Whats up with Nash? Miss hearing about him. We also have a 14 year old surfer grom. How does he like having a baby sister? Always hated people telling ya to not talk about your baby boy.
You bring a smile to my face everytime I read. I love that Sandra is getting all the culture in. Wionder what her mind thinks about it. Doing great job ! I think this is a great place for you. Mending kids would be unknown without your trip and thee attention you have given it. Keep it up!
Love reading your blog! I always look forward to it – and, Yey, Sandra!
