Lo Siento to those having breakfast at Huckleberry’s
Let me issue an appology to anyone at Huckleberry’s in Santa Monica yesterday.
Sandra and I know how to make an entrance. We walked in. You were having breakfast. She lost her’s. OK enough. This blog will not (always) be about barf.
So my little home sick/car sick angel and I went to the surgeon yesterday. Now let me just say …I look at her and think she is perfect. But the kids at home make fun of her. So even with all the barfing and my bad spanish ( how many times can I say lo siento. No comprendo) she wants this surgery.
And (brief plug for www.mendingkids.org ) she is so blessed to have this opportunity.
They can separate her fused fingers. That’s the very good news. The bad news? She has to have two surgeries. Her first surgery is next week. This was not easy to tell a child. Especially when most of our conversations are more like “Mire los gatos bano” - look it’s the cat’s litter box).
But she understands. And no one (not even me) threw up on the way home from el hospital.

So glad to hear you’re doing good in the world and it wasn’t all talk and fluff. Still miss you though. Keep on blogging, love to read about your adventures.
