So (why do I start so many sentences with so) I did get to have a cocktail with Jean Martirez . She had some pink drink. Some prickly pear thing. And life has been a bit prickly lately. We laughed. We did not cry, No eyes were bleeding. And she got to meet Sandra.
Watching the debate with Sandra was funny. Well I’m not sure how much she watched.
Kids were skateboarding around the TV (I can rip on a ripstick but one day either bones or furniture will break). Dog yelping, kids yelling I could barely hear the candidates yelling.
They were in each others space and face. It got a bit prickly (yes that’s my new word) . Mitt whiffed the Libya question. Today Candy Crowley is saying Mitt was right in the big picture, but he looked small. And Obama still doesn’t have a good answer for why the economy still sucks. Mitt wore a red tie last time. The President wore a red tie this time. Apparently the guy in red tie wins. Next debate is the tie breaker.
Now that I have surely ticked off someone (politics is…yes prickly). I will get back to Sandra. She is leaving next week. Going home to El Salvador. That may be a bit prickly for me…
But Mitt has one last debate and it is about foreign affairs. He can easily bring up Libya, terrorists, videos, etc. again. And he got the whole country talking about it, too.
Mitt wore a red tie first debate! I remember because my husband said Obama should have wore the power color & I said, “but red is repub color & blue is demo.) Still like Mitt better for our country Dorothy, sorry!
You are right. I meant to write red tie wins. Blue tie loser! xo
I love reading your blog – you still crack me up!
Like I said the other day, Steve needs to quit GDLA and you, Jillian and Steve should go to another station as a package deal.
I miss you guys! Mornings are not the same – I actually get work done – BUT, I have no idea what’s going on in the world around me.
Keep up the blogs!
Ahhhhhhhhh… Sandra is leaving…. We will miss her, but I’m sure she will be happy to see her ‘other’ family….

Hi Dorothy, So what does Sandra say about going home? How do you communicate with her? Well I know you’ll both miss each other. Happy you got to meet up with Jean. I still think this is all surreal. Just to weird.
Hugs and see you next time,
