I’m eating the lollipop I brought for Sandra. I’m not proud of this but she’s asleep and I’ve had nothing to eat. Except for the Doritos I had earlier (while flipping through Fitness magazine)Let me start with the ending. She is fine. the surgery went well.
We started our day at 4AM. Driving in the dark it felt a little like going to Good Day LA. Same path. Very different journey.
Sandra’s surgery was delayed so it was a day of explaining (Lucey you have some ‘splainin’ to do) why she couldn’t eat. I also had to ‘splain to a few people here why I’m no longer on TV. Between all that i searched for Dora DVD’s and made it through to surgery time. She got on the gurney and didn’t even cry ( so at least that was one of us).
Four (excruciating) hours later I got to see my beautiful barfing angel. When we say our prayer …now I lay me down to sleep ( well I’m in a recliner so I guess I’m not actually laying down to sleep ) we will thank God for Mending Kids and for all the nice nurses, and our brilliant doctor and for Dora. Really could not have done this without Dora.
Hi Dorothy, Im not sure what happened to her, but i’m very happy she is doing well. God Bless you for all you are doing for her. You are so loved by the Most High. xoxohugs
